Growing up, we watched our parents struggle with chronic wounds that required frequent hospital visits. Our father, dealing with diabetic foot ulcers, and our mother, battling venous leg ulcers, had to endure the exhausting trips to outpatient wound care centers. Each visit was a painful ordeal, not only physically but emotionally as well. I vividly recall the winter days when they would brave icy roads, their faces etched with exhaustion and anxiety over the long, costly journey ahead. Seeing them in distress made us dream up soliutions for a better way.

One day, as I helped them prepare for yet another hospital visit, I resolved to find a solution that would alleviate their struggles. I discovered the concept of mobile healthcare services, which offered the possibility of delivering expert care directly to patients' homes. This idea resonated with me deeply, as it addressed the very issues our parents faced: accessibility, comfort, and personalized care.

Fueled by a desire to make a difference, I founded a mobile wound care business. Our mission was to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in their own homes, allowing them to heal in familiar surroundings without the burden of travel. I assembled a team of dedicated healthcare professionals who shared our vision and understood the impact chronic wounds could have on patients and their families.

As our service grew, I began receiving heartfelt messages from patients expressing their gratitude for the convenience and comfort we provided. One elderly woman told us how our visits had transformed her life, sparing her the exhausting trips to the hospital and bringing healing and peace back into her life. Her story touched my heart and confirmed that I was on the right path.

Witnessing our parents' struggles inspired us to turn pain into purpose. United Ambulatory Clinicians became a personal mission to ensure others would not endure the same hardships. Our parents’ experience serves as a reminder that healing should be accessible, compassionate, and patient-centered. Through our mobile wound care services, I strive to make a positive impact, one home visit at a time, and to provide the relief and care our parents once desperately needed.

Since 2017, we have been able to actualize our early dreams for this service and could not be more grateful for the ability to make an impact in patients’ lives every day.
